What Precautions Are To Be Taken For Not Repeating Drug Eluting Stent Treatment And Being On Plavix?

I had a drug-eluting stent treatment on October 8, 2012. I was on Plavix for close to 10 months. I take a daily aspirin (81 mg), Lipitor (80 mg) and Ramipril (5 mg) each day. I see my cardiologist tomorrow as my one year check-up. What questions do I need to ask to make sure this does not happen again?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi
I read your query.

The best thing to do in your case is to do exactly what your cardiologists had council you to do.
- Healthy lifestyle.
- Stop smoking.
- Increase physical activities.
- Reduce alcohol, don't abuse drugs.

I also suggests to perform regular cardiac tests every six months.

Hope I answered to your query.
