What Mental Condition Would Cause Lack Of Empathy, Blackouts While Angry, Crying With Any Sorrow And The Desire To Be Helpful?

Basically my friend has the following symptoms and I really worry for her, and want to help her. -lacks empathy -desire to be overly nice and helpful -blacks out when angry -Is able to cry without feeling sorrow What could be wrong with her, and how can I help.

Get her personality assessed, it can be part of borderline (emotionally unstable personality) or other condition. Cognitive Behavior therapy and mood stabilizers would help. Consult a psychiatrist.
