What Medication Is Suggested For Welts On Body?
My 2 year old grandson had major welting all over his body, was running a low grade fever of 100 and the welts would get real bad then lighten up. he was given Benadryl and decadron 10mg po. I just went to check on him while he was sleeping and where all the welts were, he has purple bruseing

By what you quopte it could be toxic urticaria or skin allergy due to viral fever or illness. It will settle once fever settles.
Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If she is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active. You can treat fever with Paracetamol at 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly if fever is > 100F.
Skin allergy can be treated with oral Hydroxyzine suspension.
