What Medical Condition Causes Sodium Deficiency Despite Taking Sodium Chloride Supplements?

I have a condition that causes my sodium to be low even after taking sodium chloride tabs for 2 months. I doctor said I had a condition that kept my body from retaining sodium. I don t remember what she called it. Could you please tell me what it is? YYYY@YYYY

It may be due to common causes include diuretic use, diarrhea, heart failure, liver disease, renal disease, and the syndrome of inappropriate ADH secretion (SIADH) etc. Please get Serum Na+, potassium, chloride, and bicarbonate,plasma osmolality,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen,blood glucose,urine osmolality,serum uric acid,serum cortisol,thyroid-stimulating hormone and plasma AVP then consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
