What May Be The Cause Of Blood In Stool?

hi , i am 27 years old. I used to smoke around 7 ciggarette daily and i was also addicted to chewing tobacco(gutka).. But from last one week , i am having daily one or two ciggarette and stopped having chewing tobacco.. And as an alternative, i started having nicotex gum (daily 10 gum). Today afternoon when i went to toilet , i saw blood in stool.. Can you tell me what may be the problem? I am really worried...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, the blood through the anus may be secondary to the nicotex gum.It also may be due to the hemorrhoids, or an infection.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, styptovit.
Avoid taking nicotex gel as well as the gutka, and smoking.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
