What Makes You Dizzy When You Lay Down And While Walking?

I ve been experiencing extreme dizziness the last few months it seems to be getting worse even laying in bed I feel like I m going to fall over. I can t walk straight when this happens,my eyes feel like they re crossing I also feel like I m going to fall over and have to grab something to keep me from falling to the floor. It can last for hours.

Hi,

How old are you? Are you diabetic or hypertensive? Are you on any medication?

The possible causes for vertigo and giddiness are BPPV or acute vestibular neuronitis or labyrinthitis or anemia or posterior circulation stroke or cardiac dysfunction etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet Vertin. Please get it done vestibular function test, tilt table test, CT Brain and ECG.

Please consult your ENT specialist/neuro physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
