What Makes A Scar To Change Its Color While On Breast Cancer Treatment?

I have a scar on my knee that is 46 years old, it has never changed or been an issue that whole time. it was from falling on the gravel in the playground I am currently ending treatment for breast cancer, chemo ended july 5th and tomorrow will be radiation treatment 25 the scar has turned red and somewhat hard over the last couple of weeks is there a chance this could be cancer showing in another form? they have made me an appointment with a plastic surgeon but are not saying much else thank you

No, that is not cancer. But an inflammation of scar tissue most likely due to chemotherapy.
