Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the endoscopy report is as follows:
1. The pharynx opening and the pharyngeal muscle is within normal limits.
2. The esophagus is within normal limits.
3. The gastroesophageal (GE) junction is receded and the upper most part of stomach- cardia is dilated.
4. Rest of the stomach and the duodenum are also within normal limits.

These findings suggest disease of GE junction.
A biopsy of the GE junction may be required to look for evidence of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
The drugs can only be prescribed after results of the investigations.

Thanks and take care
