Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
With the history of trauma, possibly the lump near your eyes is a hematoma (collection of blood) due to the hit. This might take at least three weeks for it to get absorbed by the tissues. If it does not, then you might have to consult a general surgeon to rule out any chances of a continuing accumulation of blood, or an organised hematoma, which might require some kind of intervention. The hematoma might reduce with aspiration and a pressure bandage for the present, but one can not rule out recurrent accumulation of blood in it. Therefore, it would be better not to do any invasive procedure on it without any definite medical indication. I would rather suggest you to get it clinically examined by a general surgeon in your area for proper management.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
