What Is The Treatment Given For Ear Infection During Pregnancy?

Hi Doc since my pregnancy I noticed ear infection in which I my doctor gave me some drops to put in my ear and antibiotics and it get better. But last night I found it bleeds. Do I have to worry or is still part of pregnancy. I am 31 weeks now, 39 years of second baby. Windy

Hello,

It may be due to acute suppurative otitis media.

For that you can apply antibiotics ear drops.

Continue steam inhalation and Betadine gargle twice a day.

Avoid antibiotics without physician consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Avoid ear piercing. Maintain proper hygiene.
