What Is The Treatment For Uterine Fibroids?

ok,,,,,i habe a uterinf fibroid,,,,they just dis a second ultrasound to make sure everything was ok with that,,,,,everything came back good,,,,,my questionis,,,,,i also hadda pap test takes b4 my ultrasound,,,,it took two weeks,,n i just got the results,,,that it was abnormal,,,but the drs not in till tom,,,,,,my question,,,,if it was anything bad,,,,wouldnt the ultrasound hav picked it up ???? :(

pap smear is for any abnormal growth, usually used for cervix, while ultrasound detects any large mass or growth.... fibroids can be picked on ultrasound but if the cervical tumor is yet in initial stages it can be detected on pap smear and not ultrasound... pap smear identifies abnormal cells that are typical of a tumor
