What Is The Treatment For Type 2 Diabetes And Low BP?

My son, age 46, is a Type 2 diabetic (for past 5 years), African-American and is 6 2 weighing 301 lbs. (recently lost 17 lbs. in 2 wks.) and currently is experiencing low blood pressure levels. He has been in touch with his doctor today, and she instructed him to stop taking his usual meds, and has prescribed an antibiotic or something else (name not available at this time). His blood pressure over the past 3 days has been fluctuating between 92/60; but, 76/92 earlier today before he called his doctor. Should me and his wife be concerned?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern if this the history of diabetes then the first task would be to control the plasma glucose level very well anti biotic has nothing to do with this, unless it is indicated clinically, blood pressure can not be low it self, and this is nothing to worry, hope this helps.
