What Is The Treatment For The Perforation In The Ear?

Hello Doctor, My mother in law is having a perforation in her right ear and she is 63 now...Doctors in Bangalore advised to do the surgery. So can she take up the surgery at this age and will there be any problems because of this????Also i would like to know the cost of this surgery?
