What Is The Treatment For Swollen And Painful Fingers?
i am a 48 yr old female. For the past week I have been waking in the morning to find that my fingers are swollen and grossly painful for about an 1 to 2 hrs after waking. While the pain will diminish some the swelling does not. I also find find that after working a day, my fingers are once again swollen and painful. I have tried all the OTC products there are, plus icing to no avail. Any thoughts or suggestions? Almost forgot. there has been no injury to either hand or fingers
Dear Madam, your symptoms are such that taking OTC medication will not only harm your body but it will delay diagnosis and the second insult to the body due to the disease will get advanced. Take your symptoms seriously as they indicate that you may be suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Consult a Rheumatologist as early as possible, get blood tests done, to confirm the diagnosis and start the medications to control further damage to your joints and body.
