What Is The Treatment For Stomach Upset?

Post colostomy 6 months after sepsis. During hospitalization had upset stomach after initial food intake, but waned after a month or so. Recently have started having daily upset stomach throughout the day, output appears mostly the same; however, diarrhea or loose stool has been more prevalent

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of colectomy before 6 months followed by diarrhea, upset stomach after food.
Since the colectomy means removal of all the colon, you start getting a new sets of life due to absence of it. There can be deficiency of many nutrients, B-complex and so on which needs to be investigated and/or corrected.
Secondly, due to absence of colon the food is not going to be concentrated after digestion as there is no colon to do this function hence you have to start learning to the foods and beverages that help you to have proper control.
Avoid all the foods and beverages that cause you loose stools.
Have correction of the electrolytes and trace elements too.
