These are common side effects of wellbutrin. If you are feeling nauseated and stomach upset, I would suggest you to take medication with food, this will slow the rapid absorption and counter the side effects of gastric upset. Wellbutrin can sometimes cause dry mouth and/or metallic taste. Since you have recently changed your medication to Wellbutrin, so it can take up to few weeks to get adjusted to the medication. Again if you take the medication with food it will also control metallic taste to some extent. As you have been doing very good with Wellbutrin I would suggest you to give yourself few weeks and the taste sensation should be fine. I it still persist consult your MD to change to other medication (like Lexapro, zoloft) with significantly lesser tendency to cause similar side effects. Hope this helps, Dr Sahsi.
