What Is The Treatment For Severe Back Pain And Swollen Pancreas?

my father is 66 yrs old having diabieties since 35 yrs.He also has hypothyroidy.He has been detected ostopenia since 2005.His back pain hasbeen increasing day by day.doctors have given supracal 1000mg since 2005.Since a few months he is also having remylin d.His vit D 25 hydroxy lately is 89.03.Lately in ultrasound his pancreas are little swollen.Kindly advise.

My opinion is that your father may be suffering from pancreatitis. its pain appears in abdomen and referred to back. for backache visit orthopedician and for pancreatitis visit gastroenterologist. please have MRI of spine done, serum amylase done. ask your father to avoid forward bending, lifting weight. apply hot fomentation to back. hope your query get solved. welcome for further queries.
