Premature ejaculation is mainly divided into two major categories, one that is physiologically having shorter pudendal nerve latency hence earlier climax and second psychogenic or behaviorally conditioned, which can be due to anxiety regarding sex, fear of unsatisfied partner and even negative cultural conditioning.
It can also be due to excessive shyness or embarrassment, even insecurities regarding body image can cause premature ejaculation. In most young men it can spontaneously resolve with time. Often SSRIs are prescribed for quicker relief. Still it is advisable to visit nearest specialist for best results.
