What Is The Treatment For Persistent Hiccups?
Dear Sir, My Dad \ Chandrashekar\ is suffering from hiccups from past 1 week.We did initial check up (kidney function,ECG) and found it be normal.Even though Dr. says normal we are worried about the hiccups.We would like to know is there anything which KMC hospital can help us in diagonsing the disease and treating it. Note: My dad has dibetes and prostrate issue for which he\ s taking medication.Hoping for early reply.Also we did a endoscopy found out to be normal. Thanks in Advanace, Ravi

There are many causes of Hiccup. If there no systemic disease then generally it is associated with gastric causes. I think you should take combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole twice a day on empty stomach before dinner and breakfast. I hope you will be fine
