What Is The Treatment For Noise In The Ear And Dizziness?
Hi sir, I have a problem in a right ear since november 2013, when i was pregnant and m having 5 months old baby now. I will hear a sound in my right ear and will get giddiness frequently. Last week i suggested to took a x-ray by an Ayurvedic doctor since i had an treatment for my sinus and gastric problem, even now m taking his medicines. but the X-ray says that The right mastoids shows few sclerosed air cells . Is this a severe Problem or it can be cured by medicines. I m very scared about this issue. Please clear my doubt sir.
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. Tinnitus and giddiness which increases during pregnancy, can be either otosclerosis or Meniere's disease. You have to get done an audiogram after consulting your ENT specialist. Few sclerosed air cells in xray mastoids are not important provided the ear examination is normal. A thorough ENT examination will relieve your most of the worries. Regards Dr Rao
