What Is The Treatment For Mouth Ulcers?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...im gonna tell you right off the bat i use smokeless tobaco, and i get mouth ulsers all the time i have my whole life even before is started dipping. but ive had one thats been there for about 2 weeks and ive also been having small tooth aches. i notices tonight what looks like a hole in my bottom gum below my canine tooth. what should i do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain ulcers in mouth seems to be due to Apthous Stomatitis causing Apthous Ulcers and can occur due to a number of causes like deficiency of iron and folic acid,stress,tobacco chewing, dry mouth,hormonal imbalances etc..
In case if you have toothache and notice a hole below canine tooth it can be a draining sinus caused due to tooth abscess in case if the tooth is infected..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of apthous ulcers you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine, take a multivitamin tablet daily,do warm saline gargles, gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia, take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, avoid spicy food, chew sugar free chewing gums and drink plenty of water..
For toothache get an x ray of the tooth done and in case of tooth abscess root canal treatment of tooth followed by antibiotics and painkillers can help..
