What Is The Treatment For Lump Developed On Bump Cheek With Pigmented Skin On It?

Hi
I have a lump about 3 cm on my left bum cheek. Under the skin but the skin on it is dark in pigmentation. It hurts but its not linked to any organ as I've had a scan. Docs don't no what it is and I'm worried and un able to sleep. It's been going on for about 9 months now.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi

See you have a lesion which is persisting now since last few months.
From the description provided, it is quite difficult to reach a definite diagnosis although one needs to rule out various differentials in such cases.
I would suggest you to see a nearby dermatologist soon and get a skin biopsy done.
This will help in confirmation of the diagnosis.
It is important to rule out cyst, lipomas and other benign and malignant lesions.

Dr Geetika Paul.
