What Is The Treatment For Indigestion And Acidity?

Hi
I am eating omez 20 or similar medican since last 4..5 years. Now I had to eat 2 or 3 of these everyday. And even after eating these medican I suffer indigestion and acidity. I have got endroscopy done. I had small infection but I am highly acidic.what should I do now..??? I want to get rid of these medican.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of taking Omez 20 for the last 4-5 years for acidity but still the acidity and indigestion still trouble. Had endoscopy done but report is not attached. Has a small infection but are highly acidic. Wants to know what to do....
As per the history, this may be related to the esophagitis and GERD that Omez can control only acidity and not the reflux; hence you need an added medication of Domperidone to regularize the motility so that the GERD stops.
Indigestion may be related to the intestinal infection or insufficiency of the pancreatic enzymes. Hence added tests of stool and blood along with ultrasonography will help further and a course of an antibiotic, Metronidazole can help further along with a long term probiotic.
You will have to identify the factors, foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and to stop these willingly.
