Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to an infection.

Do you have fever? What about other symptoms like running nose, cough, sneezing, etc.?

I recommend consulting with your doctor for a careful physical exam and some blood lab tests:

-complete blood count
-blood electrolytes
-PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation
-kidney and liver function tests.

Further tests may be needed to establish the cause.

You should discuss with your GP on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
