What Is The Treatment For Extreme Fatigue Along With Pain And Numbness In The Body?

I have a 28 year old niece who has extreme fatigue (has been in bed for 2 weeks). She has pain which she describes as bumping your elbow and get a jolt of pain and numbness but her whole body is affected. They have ruled out MS, complex migraine and spinal injury. She had an episode that lasted 3 months, was ok for a couple of months and has returned. Do you have an opinion on which way we should be go regarding diagnosis and treatment.

Hello,

Extreme fatigue may be due to viral fever or anemia or adrenergic fatigue syndrome or hypothyroidism etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Drink plenty of liquids, take rest. If symptoms not improved please get it done complete blood picture, urine examination, thyroid status etc.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
