Hello

I read your statement and i understand your concern

Lack of Libido among partners may be caused by various causes ranging for physical to psychological

Here are they

>> Low Sex hormone level can be an important cause. Get tested for testesterone and LH FHS levels

>> If you are taking too much alcohol, try to reduce as it can decrease your libido

>> Certain medication cause decreased desires. Let me know which medication you are taking and are they having side effects including decreased libido

Psychological reasons for decreased libido are stress, anxiety and depression. Your statement is deficient is a way that it does not gives a clue about anxiety and depression. If you are having some negative thoughts and felling anxious, then your sexual life can be resumed only if you start treatment for anxiety and depression

If i were your doctor, i would have ruled out physical causes first, then evaluated you for depression and anxiety. Then prescribed you Tab Alprazolam 0.25mg once a night for 8 days and also Tab Acralion 200mg 2 tablets once a day for a month

If it were decreased libido alone or erectile dysfunction alone, there were more chances your issue could have some physical cause. Since you have both issues, it seems to be more psychological than physical. Anxiety etc can cause erectile dysfunction as well decreased libido

Thanks
Dr Nasir Ali
