What Is The Treatment For Diaper Rashes In A Child?

my newly adopted daughter of 10mths has giardia and shigella. In the last 6 days she has developed the worst diaper rash. It is bleeding with open little wounds. No creams are working either antifungal, steroid or anti bacterial. Do you think the bowel infections could be the cause?

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to diaper rash.

For that, you can apply b4nappie ointment locally.

Kindly change diaper regularly.

Maintain proper hygiene.

Watch for symptoms like fever, rashes at other sites, irritable then he may require detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
