HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Prednisolone can cause an increase in blood sugars but the dose she is using is small.

If she was previously in control and this is a recent change then she may look to determine if there is anything that it currently happening that is altering her readings such as infection, change in diet or activity, problems with the injection sites.

If none of these is present, she may need to speak to your doctor about altering the dose of the medication so that she can tighten control

I hope this helps
