I am diabetic since last 10 yrs and taking medicine. On Doctor's advice, I am taking insuline since last 3 months (daily 26 units and 22 units of novomix 30) but sugar is still not controlled though it has come down from peak level of 350 to 200 (PP), and 2 tabs of Zumelis 50/1000). Pls advise what to do
Hi, Diabetes is a condition were your blood sugar level is increased above the normal, due impaired absorption of sugar, and insulin resistance, decreased production of insulin, See this sustained increase in blood sugar level damages various organs, along with insulin and drug exercises like brisk walking for 1-2 hr daily will help in reducing blood sugar and it will also decrease the dose of insulin you take,so in a diabetic patient like modifying lifestyle, doing exercises, having less sweetned food, less caloric food, eat little at time are the measures to keep diabetes in check.
