What Is The Treatment For Cyst In The Adrenal Glands And Polyps In The Gallbladder?

I have just found out I have cysts on both adrenal glands and polyps in my gallbladder. This was all found due to pain in my right lower back and lower front, which remains undiagnosed. I was told to get my gallbladder out immediately, but not to worry about the adrenal gland cysts. My sister is a nursing student and is telling me they can be serious. What should I watch for?

Hello,
I have reviewed your query in detail and here is my advice.

As you have been informed, a single adrenal cyst is benign and nothing to be worried about.
Gallbladder polyps usually are due to cholesterol build up. However, there is a remote possibility that the polyps can be small tumors. This can be confirmed after cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) and pathological evaluation of the gallbladder. You need not worry too much about malignancy at this point. Please be advised to undergo gallbladder removal surgery as recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
