What Is The Treatment For Cough In A Child?
Hi.. My son is suffering cough about 2 weeks and had been admitted ward for 4 days. After discharged, his cough are still active plus with on and off fever. Every night he couldnt sleep because of cold.It is ok my son 1 year 11 month take salmodil syrup? Ans how many ml for my son?

Cough of more than 2 weeks duration with fever , not responding to regular tretment must be evaluated in detail.
You should go for x ray chest, complete blood count, esr Mx test after consulting a doctor.
Till then you can try syp. Amoxycillin, syp. S- mucolite or salmodil plus (dose depends on weight), syp. Monticope 5ml at night after seeing a doctor.
Nasal decongestant drops like nasoclear, moist stem inhalation may also help.
