What Is The Treatment For Constipation?

Hi, my daughter is now 2 and a half and has struggled with going to the loo for a pop for maybe 2yrs. The 1se doctor prescribed movicol which she had every other day and worked wonders. My new doctor told us to give her bran flakes etc plenary fruit and veg which she eats in a regular basis. The next doctor prescribed lactulose which doesn't seem to do much. Watching my daughter strain for 20 mins at a time is not nice and today after straining for half hour she eventually parted with something which was slightly smaller than a tennis ball which was covered with blood. Can you advise me on where I go from here please
