What Is The Treatment For Ankle Pain?

I was hit on or near my ankle bone a few days ago. I kept playing for another hour with ice in my sock. next day it was swollen and black and blue and sore but i was able to walk pretty much ok all day but at night laying in bed it gets very sore. When i first put weight on it getting out of bed very painful and can hardly walk but after many steps most pain goes away. Ive been icing it several times a day. It is still a little swollen and black and blue all along my foot. My most pain is in bed. Not understanding whats going on since walking makes it better.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such injury needs to be sent for the x-ray study to rule out the fracture part else this is the soft tissue injury with bleeding beneath skin try to keep the leg in elevated position and analgesic can be tried hope this information helps.
