hello doctor am just a bit worried about a small kind of spot or lump on my left testicle which i never noticed before it feels hard but it is very small but when i feel for it i can find it so its just worrying me what i hope its not any advise you could give me and what shall i do thankyou
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read your history carefully as it is not making it sure where the lump is, whether in the testicle or in the scrotal skin. Let us talk about both. If there is a small swelling in the skin of the scrotum, the commonest cause in all the males is sebaceous cyst. Due to the typical type of the skin the scrotum has, this is common problem. Secondly- if the swelling is in the scrotum, it may be related to the testis or the epididymis in the form of a cyst or a granuloma. I would advise you to see the General surgeon to get a confirmed diagnosis. I hope this answers your query and helps you to get a proper diagnosis.
