What Is The Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis And A Rash On The Neck?

HI, I am not sure I am at the right place but I have RA and recently started taking Actemra by infusion. I have had 2 treatments so far, the first was a third of the full dose and the next was 4 weeks later and it was 2/3 of a full does, these are loading doses. I am scheduled for my next one on this upcoming Tues I woke up yesterday with a rash on my neck and at my waistline I am afraid it is shingles, I have had them before my question is can I still take the Actemra on Tues if it is shingles Sorry I did not realize there was fee. No Im sorry just no money left in my account today

hello
if this is shingles then you should definitely delay the next infusion of actemra, however it is unlikely to be shingles if it is involving two separate dermatomes.
it is generally recommended to avoid biologics during an episode of acute infection.
