What Is The Treatment For Nasal Polyps?

i am suffering from the disease of nasal polyp L/side since last few years.At present I have not smell N taste powers. once my ESR was increased then doctors used heavy antibiotic medicine and intervener injections at that time I was fit in all respect after some days the position was same, doctors advised me for surgery, but I did not agree due to over age and patient of diabetic my age is 52yrs,I also used some homeo (local) medicines but all in vain.I feel good when used English medicines but it can not use more than 7days.kindly help me towards rid of nasal polyp with out surgery so I could smell and taste just like other normal people.GOD bless U for this help.thanks.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain nasal polyps are small mass of mucosal tissues that are formed inside the nostrils and are responsible for caising nasal congestion and blocked nose and can lead to reduced hearing and taste..
But in case if there is complete loss of taste and smell you need to consult an ENT surgeon and get evaluated as there can be a few other causes like sinusitis, polyps in sinus, nerve damage, brain trauma etc..
A nasal endoscopy, MRI or CT SCAN can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case if nasal polyp is confirmed as the culprit then steroid nasal drops can help in shrinkage of the polyp..
In case if it still does not resolve surgical removal is left out as the option..
