General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Remember one thing : pilonidal sinus has to be excised. This is the only definitive treatment.
Continue the treatment at the moment , let us settle well. Plan for a definitive problem.
Your Surgeon is going to tell you the chance of recurrence even after a good surgery, accept it and ask your Surgeon to remove the whole tract and hope for the best.
Let it drain if you have antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines with you.
