What Is The Suggested Treatment For Lump On Wrist?

Swollen lump on the vein at the intersection between my wrist and right hand. I may have bumped it or rubbed it working in a confined space on my car. No discoloration, but quite hard. Will it go away by itself? When do I need to seek medical attention?

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.

IF this swelling is moving with the movement of the fingers, it is connected with the tendons - can be tendosynovitis.- take Doctor's opinion and treatment.
If it is not moving and is on any of the veins ( just increase the pressure on the wrist by encircling around it), do nothing . It will subside on its own. Do not play or fiddle with this.
