What Is The Suggested Treatment For Constipation?

I have been constipated and went to use the bathroom and felt intestines coming out instead of stool. After inspecting if this was true it was! My intestine was showing form my rectum. it is inside of me but should I see a doctor or is there something I can do from home? Is this life threatening?

HI
Well come to HCM
Constipation is not the disease but this is the condition, if you are exerting the force at the time of defecation then the chance of developing rectum prolapse would be likely, and what ever you are seeing coming out could be rectum prolapse, drink lot of water, have a fiber containing diet, never apply the force at the time of defecation, the prolapse part would come around with suggested care and management, take care.
