What Is The Solution For Swelling Due To Preauricle Sinus In Both Ears?

Hi! I have preauricle sinus on my both ears but never for infected this is first the lift one is badly infected its painful and swollen I have been taken several antibiotics suggested by gp since last week but pain is getting worst I went to emergency department due to pain they cut if for drainage but nothing comes out I'm still taking 9 antibiotics pain is lil bit better but still swollen I have flight this Tuesday plz suggest me something for swelling ears

I have gone through your query regarding treatment of preauricular sinus and it's infection.

I would like to tell you that preauricular sinus is a congenital defect and it is usually bilateral and rarely unilateral. If only small dimple or hole is there and not giving any symptom than that may be left as such till it creates problem. But in your case it had got infected and not responding to conservative medical treatment therefore surgical excision of sinus track is the only remedy.

For this please consult your ENT doctor he will surgically remove it and this will cure.
