What Is The Solution For Sharp Pain, Swelling And Redness Of Tonsils?

My lower right tonsil is extremely red and almost looks ripped. There is a sharp pain only in my lower right tonsil. Pain scale 1-10 (highest) it's probably an 8 almost 9. I riding go to doctors today because norm I'm told its a viral and leave with no meds but the pain is almost unbearable. I've been gargling with salt water and taking lozenges and drinking tea. Help!

you may never know,it may be bacterial.since its giving you so much trouble,start treatment as follows.tablet augmentin 1gm twice daily for 6 days,tablet panadol sos and saline gargles.it ll help
