Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I read your query. Dry mouth can be due to medications, diabetes, salivary gland diseases, radiation, etc.
I suggest you to consult an oral surgeon for proper diagnosis and investigations. Get a blood test and x-ray of salivary gland done. You need to provide your medication or treatment history (if any).
Meanwhile, maintain good oral hygiene. Use mouthwash, betadine gargles. Use sugarless candies for salivary stimulation. Cavity chances increase with dry mouth. Have regular check up, prophylaxis and fluoride application on teeth. There can be oral ulcers and chapped lips too.
Use vaseline for lips and glycerine in mouth.
Take multivitamins, good diet.
Take lots of fluids but avoid sugary or acidic fluids. Main treatment is to visit a dentist, get the main cause identified and treat it.
Hope the answer helps. Thank you!
