What Is The Role Of Fertigyn Injection?

Hi Since past 4 months i am on siphene. Post that usually follicles grow upto 18mm on day 16. This they are 18.6mm and 16.4 mm in right ovary, with multiple small follicles in left. past one month i am taking ovares. Doctor has advised me to take fertigyn injection today. what is role of the same and are there any chances of follicle getting cystic. What should be the frequency of sexual intercourse. My husband has low sperm mobiliy (30 percent) and is on medication for pas one month. Thanks Neha

There are multiple questions .
The size of follicle should be around 19 to 20 mm on day 14-15 at least to rupture and endometrium thickness must be around 11 mm to conceive.
Since you are taking siphene and also ovares ( now a day ).
Till now it is very difficult to say whether follicles are turning into cysts, so need not to worry .
But the cause of concern is day 16 , because it must rupture on day 14-15 days.
Fertigyn is chorionic gonadotrophin and used for anovulatory infertility ( as may be for you in your case ).
As far as concerned about sexual intercourse ( frequency ) it absolutely depend on number of sperm in semen .
So also consult an Infertility SPECIALIST AND TRY you will get success.
