What Is The Risk Of Contracting HIV While Replacing Used Condom?

Hi,

Two weeks before I had anal sex with a guy twice both with condom. (I am active) During the las intercourse, I saw a little blood on the condom. So I changed for another one. What if I touched the condom from outside with little blood and inmediately my penis either foreskin, tip or trunk while replacing the condom.

What is the risk if the person has HIV?

Hello,
Thanks for the consult...

Brief answer,
Very minimal chance of exposure to hiv...

Detailed explanation,
1. I seen your query and i am happy to help you. You already mentioned had you are sexually active and preferred safe sex
2. You recognised that there is blood on the condom and touched that with your hand on to the penis foreskin
3. There may be minimal chance of exposure to hiv in this case only when the blood touches the cut injury on the penis or on the semen
4. If you had doubt in mind kindly do ELISA test and confirm it by WESTERN BLOT test after 6 weeks of possible exposure to hiv

Hope this information helps...
