What Is The Risk Of Contracting HIV Just Through Simple Exposure ?

Hello, Dr.Grief. A few days ago I went into a bathhouse just to see what it's like. I did not perform any oral, kissing, or any type of sexual intercourse with anybody. I walked around the whole place and just checked it out for 20 mins after I got disgusted and left. I will not be going back. However when I walked in the Sauna, or the Steamroom, I sat on the bench and forgot to lay on the towel so I sat on it butt naked for a min. What's the risk of contracting HIV through my exposure? I'm freaking out. I didn't do anything in there.

There is no chance for you get HIV by just walk in and sitting on bench or chair or on a towel.
HIV is very fragile virus cannot live outside body fluid even for minutes. It can not be transmitted through fomites and inanimate objects. Moreover steam and its temperature can kill the virus in seconds.Nothing to worry. You cannot contract HIV by visiting a sauna or a bathhouse. If it is possible how many clients by this time would have infected with HIV?
