What Is The Remedy For The Sharp Ear Pain, Sore Throat And Crackly Cough?
Hello, I think I have walking pneumonia. Had cold over a couple months ago that was not like the normal, lasted a day or two but felt it quickly went to deep chest. Day of feeling lousy, some ear pain, sore throat, then gone. Since then I have felt pretty well, just have this deep down crackly cough worse in morning, is productive with dark green/yellow. Have not seen MD. Was hoping not to be on antibiotics … again. Trying more natural things, teas, etc. What would be your advice? Need to see MD or continue to wait it out. Thank you.

Noted your history of cold over couple of months ago, felt as if went deep into the chest, have deep down cough worse in the morning. The green or yellow color is indication that you need to follow the advise of your MD.
The reasons:
The colored phlegm is always due to an infection and should be sent for gram staining, culture and sensitivity.
Blood should be sent for CBC and sugar,
X-ray chest.
Proper antibiotic, decongestants and antitussive therapy as may necessary should be given.
Take steam inhalations.
Second opinion of an ENT Surgeon is most needed as this may tell about any basic problem.
