What Is The Remedy For Perforated Nasal Septum?

I have a perforated nasal septum. I just discovered it. I have been using nasal sprays for the past four months because I had blockage and couldn t breathe. Everytime I blew my nose, I had bloddy mucus. Now, I can breathe but worry about the perforation. I don t do drugs but have suffered from nose bleeds for years. Do I need to be concerned about this perforation?

Hello,

First, you have to confirm it by showing to ENT specialist nearby. Perforation is less common with nasal spray unless using any weed inhalation it drug abuse. If perforation is confirmed then treatment depends upon the size of the perforation. May need to be closed by surgically. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
