steroids he/she is bound to have 'mood swings' and/or flaring up of symptoms, i.e. with long-term use [3 months], steroids can result in the following side effects.

stiffness, muscle tenderness, and/or fever]...present in your complaints [discuss them with your doctor who will find the lowest dose you need to control your disease.]
. also long term intake of steroids causes altered response to stress [when you have been taking steroids for a longer time your
adrenal glands no longer produce cortisol, the natural corticisteroid hormone, produced by the body to fight illness and cope with stress], bleeding problems [look out for black/tarry stools] infection [since steroids suppress the immune system have
pneumococcal vaccine as prophylaxis ] increase in risk of fractures [check with bone density],
high blood pressure [low salt diet], high blood sugar level [monitor your sugar level], and many more [you may ask your Doctor for exhaustive list]
. incorporate
calcium supplements [milk products,yogurt,cheese] alongwith Vitamin D which is necessary for absorption of calcium.
. avoid tobacco in any form.
. Weight-bearing exercises: will improve your balance and flexibility and decrease your risk of falls.
. For nausea chew cardamom,ginger,lime or crushed ice and for dizziness:
bed rest, spinning movements of head, plenty of fluids,breath slowly and avoid bright lights
