What Is The Remedy For Itchy Red Rash On My Body When On Levothyroxine?
I have developed a very itchy rash on my arms and legs. The rash started on my shins a few months ago and would come and go. The last couple of weeks though, the rash has gotten way worse and is on my arms and is a lumpy, very itchy, red rash. I have a thyroid condition and take levothyroxine.
I am so sorry to hear about this itchy ash. The most common cause of itchy rash is urticaria. i will recommend antishistamines like zyrtec/benadryl to help control your symptoms. if they should persist, please get consulted for it may represent another disease process.
