What Is The Remedy For Cough?

am 19 years old and been suffering from cough for one month since now ,, i have no cold &anything else but cough is making me disgusting , i consult the doctor he said it will be allergy & given ascoril & fortis tablet,
when eating tablets i feel free for some hours but again cough is coming , when i consult the other doctor he provided me flagyl 400& hetramyzine @ zeebee ,zentel & erythromycin but i feel no remedies from that, now am taking benadryl syrup but this also didnt help me am just experencing cough , when i sleep i just have slight trouble with breathing but not often.can u pls sugesst remedies & tell if there are any problems for this please, & thanks in advance for your kind advice,

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of bronchitis is more in your case.
Bronchitis can cause coughing with breathing difficulty.
Usually cough is not subsided by routine cough suppressant.
For this you need to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out other lung diseases. PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease. And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid.
Don't worry, you will be alright. First diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.. Hope I have solved your query.
